The Milford Public Works Department has changed their procedures due to the Covid 19
restrictions. Please adhere to the following requirements:

Bulk waste set out for pick up must be limited to items which can be physically lifted/handled
by ONE DPW employee.

DPW employees collecting bulk waste should NOT be approached.
Small bulk waste items must be bagged or boxed.

Bulk waste must be set out for collection no sooner than Tuesday, July 15,2020 in the
designated areas. Across from 125/127 Sandpiper Crescent and across from 40 Sandpiper
Crescent as marked off.

AU items must be prepared and separated into the following categories:


Burnable Items

Yard waste - placed in disposable bags

Brush and wood must be cut to four (4) foot lengths and tied into bundles

Passenger car tires


White goods

Similar items should be placed together in bags or containers and all acceptable items,
including containers will be taken.

Items that will NOT be taken:

Hazardous Waste

Oil Based and latex Paint (drop off at Colony Paint)

Propane tanks (tank drop offs will be noticed when scheduled by City)

Concrete, Bricks, Porcelain sinks, toilets, sheetrock and other construction/demolition debris
(this can be brought to Waste Conversion/City Carting at Old Gate Lane)
